Nestled in the lush Amazonian Andes of northern Peru, our Decaf Peruvian Coffee hails from the renowned Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto (JUMARP), affectionately known as "El Palto." Founded by 35 pioneering farmers in 2003, El Palto has grown to encompass 189 dedicated members, including 40 women. Together, they manage approximately 550 hectares of organic and Fair Trade Certified coffee production. Both men and women contribute equally to the cooperative's governance, serving on the El Palto Coop Board of Directors. Their shared mission focuses on enhancing specialty coffee production to improve the livelihoods of each member family, ensuring sustainable growth and prosperity for generations to come.
